The Youth Ministry at Blessed Frédéric Ozanam Parish desires to form the hearts of our young people through the teachings of the Catholic Church.Our purpose as a ministry is to provide resources, means, and ways in which elementary, high school, and even post-secondary students can grow in their faith and love for Jesus Christ.
We aim to fully equip the young people with the knowledge and understanding of the works of the Holy Spirit in order for them to practice daily Christian discipleship. Through formation, prayer, and love, Youth Ministry hopes to draw young hearts closer to God so that they put Him in the centre of all that they do while practically living out their faith every day.
In this ministry, youth are promised a welcoming and accepting space for spiritual growth. The youth can whole heartedly count on the leaders of this ministry to always allow the word to take flesh in every situation through patience and compassion.
Together with being ministered, youth group is a place where life-long friendships are formed. The youth will be part of a community and will feel connected with those who also desire to receive Jesus in their life.
Finally, with zeal, youth ministry is heavily committed to be joy-filled and spirit-filled as we accompany the youth on their spiritual journey.
