The Eucharist is
the “source and summit of the Christian life”,
and all the other sacraments are ultimately oriented toward it.
(CCC 1324)
Jesus instituted the sacrament of the Eucharist at the Last Supper through the sacrifice of his Precious Body and Blood. It is the gift we celebrate at each and every Mass through the breaking of the bread. When we receive Communion, we believe that we receive the person of Jesus into our very beings. We become one with him, and we become one with each other. As a community, we become 'the Body of Christ'.

Episode 2 – The Story of the Eucharist
The community of Blessed Frédéric Ozanam is pleased and blessed to partner with families and guide them through the Sacramental Preparation process. The primary educators for the sacrament(s) are the parents. Children are prepared for First Reconciliation in November, December, and January. They will receive the Sacrament at a Family Reconciliation Service in February. Children will prepare for First Holy Communion in February, March and April.
If your child does not attend one of our Catholic schools, we provide classes for the children on Sunday mornings.
